That's insane
I think you had an off night.......I eat there weekly and have never once been disappointed. The seafood is hand selected from a sushi chef in Houston. It's WONDERFUL!

It wasn't good we had sushi and habachi and we were very disappointed. the Lobster smelled funny and so did the tuna in the sushi roll I ordered. Now I know why the place is never crowded. I don't know if we went on an off night or what but we are definitely not going back. We tried this place cause our usual place Tsubaki's was soooo busy. But next time I will just wait.
By far, BEST sushi & hibachi!
First of all, it is very affordable and the rolls are huge. I have never had a bad roll or anything there that was not 100%. You have to try Chef's Roll...similiar to Father's Roll at Oishi Sushi. It's fried roll w/ cream cheese, spicy crab stick, jalapeno and I get cucumbers taken out. The miso soup and miso salad is to die for. Service is best in town and this place is never crowded. It's the best kept secret in town and been open for years. They have buffet for $21.95-not a typical one. You order (how you want it) and they bring it to you. They give you an hour and a half and what you don't finish, you pay $1.50/slice-so order accordingly. I order 2 rolls at a time and go from there. Never had a server that didn't have a wonderful personality either! This place is a must!!
Hibachi is also the best in town. We got the one for $35 and it had lobster, either fliet mignon or new york strip, vegies, rice, and something else-can't remember. The bowl is this HUGE ceramic bowl that is over flowing w/food. Seasoned to perfection! It fed 3 of us and we still brought some home. And that was feeding two men and one woman!
We go with a group of people and a few people get buffet and you can share your rolls-that is a great and cheap way to eat there! Enjoy!!
