Move over Zip's and Quatman Cafe: Zola's is giving you a run for your money when it comes to having the city's tastiest burgers. This hole-in-the-wall bar and grill located in Covington's MainStrasse neighborhood has developed a loyal following that raves about the grilled Angus beef. Burger mania extends to the Wednesday $5 special for a half-pound burger smothered with five toppings, including sharp cheddar cheese, sauteed onions, Canadian bacon and more. Zola's also features better-than-average bar food, like the sausage-stuffed grilled-portobello-mushroom appetizer, plus crab cakes and quesadillas to share. Young and old flock to the place for tasty wings, served with homemade blue-cheese dressing. A grouper sandwich, grilled chicken sandwich, soups and salads round out the menu choices. On weekend evenings, the place fills with young professionals from the neighborhood, and weekdays draw business folks for a busy lunch. Either way, it's always sure to be busy.

    I go to Zola's often and they have the best burger (everytime) that I have had since leaving L.A. and In and Out Burger. I have been to Zip's and their burger and other foods can not touch Zola's !! The staff is friendly and everything I have had there is wonderful. fresh, hot, and you can't wait to return and share the experience with friends!

    I have been to Zola's a few times now and have always enjoyed myself. The staff is wonderful and the food is Great!

    It really is a shame that Zola's treats their guests this badly.

    A Buddy of mine went to the resteraunt with his wife after they received a coupon for a complimentary meal, they finished and gave the coupon to their server who told them the resteraunt would not accept it. "is it expired?" he asked. The server went on to tell them that that was the "Old" Zora's and that new ownership is not taking those coupons. So the owner/manager came over and aplogized, but again refused to accept the voucher stating he had seen them before and is refusing them.

    Now, had he seen them before he should have a sign in his window stating he is "sorry" but thye can not accept these coupons. This guy made a poor business choice, because he will be losing a bit of business because of this. I sure hope that $30.00 was worth it.

    I celebrated my birthday at Zola's and enjoyed every minute of it! The food was fantastic and the service from the bartender and waitress was wonderful.I made the choice to return to Zola's after a lovely introduction to the owner and some tasty drinks. I will make this one of my stops every time I visit Covington! Thanks for a great evening!
