Rosedales shouldn't even be on the list of best BBQ in KC. The meat tastes like it has been boiled and has a consistency of a spit wad.. The sauce has no flavor. A couple of people from Kansas that I work with like it, but everybody else agrees that it is terrible.

New Home os shredded meat

I got a Combo Dinner Special to go today w beef and ribs. the beef was 95% shredded meat. I called to express this was the first time I had ever gotten such low quality at the restaurant. I was told by Chris the manager this is the way they do beef dinners now. I will not be back.

Good for Birthday presents

I LOVE Rosedales so much that my Dad gave me a short end for one of my presents at my 35th birthday party. My birthday is coming up next month ....HINT HINT!!!!

Very good bbq and no loud music/flashing lights/ just good food with a unique flavor It's been a few years since dining there on a regular basis. After driving all night and before laying down the food was never a dissapoinment

I went to Oklahoma joes but since the line was too long decided to give Rosedale another try, There was hardly a soul in the place, I could sense the tension between the waitress and th cook, I experienced real slow service and the food was extreamly dry with sauce being too hot. It didn't take long to figure why there was no customers in the place. When I got ready to leave the waitress ignored me and the cook took payment from me , First time I ever stiffed the waitress on the tip, Too bad Rosedale was at one time one of the best places to get BBQ. Will stick with my favorite BBQ Joint Quicks in Armordale across the street from Bicklemiers butcher shop

I like it better then Gates but its as dry as gates at time if they only take it out 20 mins early it would do great and if they put burned ends on a bun they should be able to put it on Bread and they don't know how..Gee

The best BBQ in KC. Short-end ribs are perfect. Smoked brisket is also quite good. Sauce is tasty. Be warned though - this is a hardcore BBQ joint. It's not some BBQ-themed chain restaurant serving lowest-common-denominator BBQ-like comfort food. Come to eat real BBQ or don't come at all.
