Morton's The Steakhouse, the nation's premier steakhouse group, specializes in classic, hearty fare, serving generous portions of USDA prime aged beef, as well as fresh fish, lobster and chicken entrees. Morton's is famous for its animated signature tableside menu presentation: steaks, whole Maine lobsters and other main course selections, along with fresh vegetables, are presented on a cart rolled to your table, where the server displays and describes each menu item in appetizing and entertaining detail. The menu, which is the same at all locations, features a variety of favorite cuts, including a 24 ounce porterhouse, which is the house specialty; a 20 ounce New York sirloin and a 14 ounce double cut filet. Every Friday and Saturday nights, enjoy our famous slow roasted Prime Rib. Morton's Prime Rib is a double cut, served bone-in and roasted to a perfect medium rare. Due to limited availability of this item, we suggest you reserve your order when making your reservation.

Morton's steakhouse is such a great place to eat. I go at least once a year because I do not live in Indianapolis. Morton's has the most tender and delicious steaks and you always have to try to lobster bisque. My favorite dessert is the Molten Chocolate Godiva cake, it is a small chocolate cake with fudge in the middle, and served a la mode. The filet is my favorite of the steaks you can order a double filet for around the same price too. The salads are so wonderful. If you have not ever eaten here please do, it is probably my favorite restaurant.

We arrived unannounced shortly before a Pacers Game. We were treated very nice, seated, and served very efficiently. Appetizers, drinks, bread were awesome. Steaks were huge and very good. One in party had the 3.5 lb lobster...which was excellent. Not the Indy favorite of St. Elmos but an EXCELLENT substitute.

  • Don't forget the shrimp appetizer

I have been there twice. Good service both times, the steaks are huge, even the smaller cuts are a challenge. The shrimp appetizer is a must. I have never seen shrimp this big, and they taste very fresh. My only dissapointment was the wild mushroom side dish. It seemed way overcooked, and was very bland.

I have been to Morton's 3 times now and the first time was excellent. To make sure this wasn't a fluke I had to go back again. Well, it was excellent again. And not meaning to sound redundant it was excellent the 3rd time. Surely number 1 in indy and I will be returning often.

  • Food VERY over-rated

My husband and I went to Morton's for the first time on Friday Aug. 27th, 2004. We were highly impressed with the service and atmosphere, but thought the food was very mediocre. I ordered a Filet, and my husband ordered a Porterhouse Steak. The steak had NO flavor, and I ordered medium rare, and received my steak medium well. The manager gave us after dinner drinks and apologized (which was nice). But with the two steaks and 2 sides and a drink each, our order totaled $185.00. Not worth the money at all!! I would much rather spend my money at St. Elmos, and be assured an excellent steak. We will not be returning.

I reviewed Mortons about a year ago and gave it a 3 star...I must give it 5 stars now. The Prime Rib was fantastic (Great Au Jus) and the Double Cut Filet is the Best Filet I have ever had. The Shrimp need a new name (They are Giant)Fantastic Service...Two Thumbs Up!!!
