My second home
Myjah1 - 09/12/2008While looking to get away from Chicago last year, I looked up and found the Jazz Kitchen. From my very first visit I became a loyal fan of the price, setting, and music. Upon my second visit I became a fan of the food and the entertainers. I have returned three times since, introducing more fans with each visit. The Jazz Kitchen has forever found one of its many groupies.

YOU CAN LET YOUR HAIR DOWN AND RELAX. DON'T HAVE TO WORRY ABOUT WHO IS THERE. JUST GO ORDER YOUR FOOD, DRINK AND LISTENING TO THE WONDERFUL JAZZ. AND ALSO ON LATIN NIGHT!! GOOD MUSIC AND EXERCISE. THEY BELIEVE IN MAKING YOU FEEL WELCOMED. THANKS FOR MAKING MY VISITS FEEL LIKE HOME.

Having been on the east coast and used to finding anything, Belkis and I were greatly surprised at the nice atmosphere, quality and sound of the music at this club. My sister said there was Latin music on Thursday nights and she was not kidding. Since we are used to frequenting NYC clubs to dance to Latin music, we were skeptical. The DJ, Marco really knows how to move the crowd with a spectacular mix of Salsa, Merengue, Bachata y mucho mas! The floor gets packed. The waiters and waitresses are pleasant and helpful. I couldn't believe they had Dominican rum (my wife is from Santo Domingo)! Belkis had never danced so much, and she is still talking about the place. I suggest you get plenty of rest, because you won't want to sit down! Hopefully, one day they will expand the music to Friday nights as well by the time we move.
