Back Yard Burger

I just had a Bub's burger, fries and chocolate malt last night. It's just like having a really great, back yard burger, but it's just that much better. With crispy fries, and malts that aren't too malty, it's the ultimate place to satisfiy your cravings. Highly recommended!

Bub's is the best thing that has happened to the revitalized downtown Carmel area! It is my favorite place to eat burgers.

I consider myself a burger expert. My picture on the wall at Bubs, having survived a big ugly elk burger. The good old fashioned hamburgers are excellent, but you also need to try the elk burger...more taste, and apparently it is a leaner meat. Although who cares about fat content when you're eating a one-pound burger I suppose!
The waffle fries are a must. This place gets WAY too busy, but waiting outside checking out everyone on the Monon helps the time go by.
Bubs gets 5 stars in my book.

The best burger AND hot dog!

In my opinion, Bub's not only serves the best hamburger in town, but they also serve the best hot dog in town! The bun is the best and the hot dog is 100% black angus. I have eaten the Big Ugly (so I could get my photo on the wall) and the other two sizes of burgers. However, don't forget to try he hot dog. It' s a good alternative and a change of pace. You won't be disappointed.

By far, Bubs burgers are the best I have ever had. I am a 3-time finisher of the Big Ugly and it was just as tasty the first as the last. I would give anything to know how they flavor their burgers before cooking. The atmosphere is great and the service is top notch. I will definately go back.

Best Burger In Indiana

My family went for dinner one night and we were pleasantly surprised. Very casual, atmosphere, great burgers and onion rings. My husband was hot for the Big Ugly and while it took him some time he did finish it, he couldn't eat anything else though.

on average I'm no a hamburger fan, but on occasion i crave a good. thank goodness for bub's. also thank you for the kid friendly environment (busy bags) and ice cream. my 2 and 4 year old love bub's as much as i do!

A great reason to go north on the Monon. I would give my right arm to know what they put in the burgers that makes them so good! Get the big ugly if you feel absolutely compelled to have your picture on the wall, otherwise get a settle for less along with waffle fries and a chocolate shake. There isn't a bad thing on the menu.

That's all I can say, it's SO good! It's worth the drive... and you can walk it off on the Monon trail right in front of the paring lot!

My son and I came from Southern California to see the Indy 500. We were told about this place by the locals. The "Big Ugly" is not for the faint of heart. We didn't expect it to be much since we knew it was a gimmick. But we were pleasantly surprised how good it was. It was tough to finish but I did not come 2000 miles to not complete the deal. Don't bother with the chili cheese fries save the room for the burger. Look for my picture on the wall Mike from Orange, California.
