A lively environment and zesty Cajun cuisine are generating Mardi Gras levels of excitement in the normally bland canal district, thanks to the Bourbon Street Distillery. Flashing neon lights, tables on the sidewalks and a balcony that overlooks the street come as close to replicating the Big Easy's main drag as any Indianapolis venue can. New Orleans-style fare with a dab of local flavor permeates the spicy menu. Pulled pork smoked for twelve hours, sweet and sticky barbecue ribs and fresh fish are just a few of the savory selections. Local favorites like thick and juicy grilled burgers and the hefty half-pound pork tenderloin sandwich are available for those that would rather not experiment. All lunch and dinner entrees are served with a salad and vegetable. If you're not ready to tackle a full platter of food, take your beer with you to the outside oyster bar where you can slurp down raw oysters for $1.

Can't Decide Everything is too Good
We go to the Distillery whenever we are in Indy. The blackened tilapia salad is delicious. I love the breaded tenderloin but you better be hungry if order it. The Reuben and Patty Melt sandwiches are great choices too.
The employees go out of the way to make you feel welcome and the service is great. The owner is a wonderful man who I think is the greatest/Comments(0)|Add Commentgreat food, hot chicks
The food in this place is the best, I find myself eating there 2 and 3 times a week.Great employees, that serve with a smile.
(2) Two bars one upstairs and one down. A very relaxed and laid back place.
The waitress are some of the hottest in Indy, the female patrons are also some of the Hottest in Indy.I give the Bourbon Street Distillery 5(five) stars.Everything is Perfect
We picked this restraunt out of the phone book. When we got there we were a little confused but the waitress soon told us just to sit anywhere. We were sitting on the sidewalk that is adjecent to a 6 street intercecion. This was perfect. Beautiful cars going by. Perfect weather. The food was fabolus too. I got a pulled pork sandwhich. I highly recomend this, but ask for a extra side of BBQ suace. My brother got some kind of fried shrimp and he siad they were amazing. I definitly recomend this. The only downside is... if you wanted to sit inside at the bar and drink you best be a smoker. You also may need to make reservations becuase of the limited number of tables. But go here best place I have ever eaten at.
