For more than two decades, Gipsy has ruled the alternative lifestyle club scene in Las Vegas. There are bigger places and newer places, but none have yet matched this always-crowded house in the exuberance of its nightlife and the outlandish get-ups of its clientele. Youll see anything and everything here, from chic crossdressers to barely covered go-go boys, and youll enjoy a close-up look since the size of the dance floor makes intimate contact inevitable. Just making your way through the revelers to get to the crowded bar can be a challenge, but its worth the effort as the drinks are fairly priced and the bartenders offer service with a smile.

The weekly entertainment schedule features Latin Nights (Monday), Retro nights (Wednesday, when the usual techno and house music is replaced by classic 70s and 80s hits) and drag and cabaret shows. But theres always something going on at Gipsy, usually right before your eyes. David Hofstede

I'm sure you'll get a sore if you sit on a barstool or something.

I majority of the fruit loop is going down hill. That is with the exception of Gipsy - it is hit bottom and is more than likely the wrost place to dance in Las Vegas if you shower regularly.

I went here back in 2000. It was so much fun back then. It's just seemed to have died a tragic death. Better to go to Krave and Freezone where they at least remodeled. And Charlies, where the staff is friendlier.

The Gipsy needs to be put down. She has been out to pasture for a very long time, An occasional re-model of the stable doesn't mean it still doesn't feel and smell like shit. Overpriced drinks are not the issue. We expect to pay in a club. A dissociative owner (we all know he does not interact or support, in any way,the Gay community that lines his closet homophobe pockets) and a less than adequate management and organizational team are the true reasons The Gipsy needs to go to the glue factory.
