Darwin's has evolved into an intimate blues club. One wouldn't expect to find an authentic, down-and-dirty genuine blues club amid the endless strip malls of Roswell Road. But that's exactly where you'll find Darwin's Blues Club, one of Atlanta's premier nightspots for blues talent. Even from the outside, Darwin's doesn't look like a typical music hall. The club is located in an unassuming wood house with a front porch decked with strings of red lights.

But once inside, when the music hits... it's all clear. Darwin's has hosted blues performers such as Roger Hurricane Wilson, Lotsa Poppa and Liz Melendez. The Open Blues Jam every Wednesday night is the perfect opportunity to check out local and regional musicians experimenting, riffing and having a blast. The menu includes chili and a host of sandwiches (everything from muffulettas to roast beef to veggie burgers). For blues enthusiasts, this place is highly recommended.

    Staff is incredible and the music is right up there with the big city blues clubs... without the smoke during the first set.
    Go catch a show by the Sauce Boss for a great evening of fun and blues guitar along with the Boss's gumbo (which he prepares for the audience during the last set). This is a special place no matter what age.

    Great music, great drinks, and a health department score of 100! Does it get any better than that? It feels like these amazing bands are playing in your living room! No longer open most Wednesday's though. :( Check out their website for a schedule of shows!
