As twenty- and thirtysomethings tire of the played-out bar scenes in other parts of town, more and more are turning to the relatively unpretentious vibes of East Atlanta Village for their nights out. With its motto of 'Stop, Drop & Drink,' the Gravity Pub perfectly sums up the neighborhood's low-key philosophy, attracting an eclectic hipster crowd that could not be further removed from the style-conscious trend-hoppers who comprise much of the Buckhead and Virginia Highlands bar scenes.

The pub has a decent menu mostly made up of the usual burgers, sandwiches, salads and fried foods, but there are a few out-of-the-ordinary selections, like the spicy veggie burger and the black-bean wrap. The full bar offers a huge selection of draft beers and drink specials. And after you've had your fill of the food, the fun can continue down in the awesome basement, a slacker's dream rec room with a great jukebox, pinball, video games, pool, air hockey and foosball tables.
