A Far Eastern food favorite in the ATL long before the sushi craze swept the town, Lee's Golden Buddha & Mo Mo Ya has been serving up authentic Asian cuisine since 1975, expanding over the course of that time to four metro locations. The restaurant's decor is subtle but perfectly establishes a Zen sort of mood, with the main dining room, the always-lively Hibachi room and the more tranquil sushi bar all facing out onto an outdoor courtyard featuring a traditional Asian garden resplendent with a small bridge, koi pond, waterfall and faux temple structures. The food (which includes steak, seafood, a broad variety of sushi, the usual Hibachi fare and of course the traditional Chinese for which Lee's is known) isn't bad either, winning numerous critical and consumer polls over the years. Though far from ATL's most upscale Asian experience, for family-friendly fare, Lee's Golden Buddha & Mo Mo Ya ranks among the city's best.
