Chop House

My wife have dined at Chops twice. On both occasions we felt rushed as they were eager to turn tables. The steak was ok but not delectable. The portion was much smaller than the menu stated.I would not put Chops in the top ten. Bones still owns the top spot in Atlanta as far as we are concerned. I know steak! I'm from Iowa!

The host would not let us sit at the tables because we were jewish. He laughed in our faces and said the only way we could dine at the chops is if we sit in the ba even though we had a reservation.
a wonderful memory!
my husband and i went there on you second date ever and we still to this day talk about the food and the whole experience!!
Birthday Celebration
I took my wife and adult children there last night for dinner. We had to wait about 5 minutes for our 7:15 table reservation.
I was surprised how crowded it was for a Sunday.
Do not go there without trying that fried lobster! I never thought something like that would be so delicious!
Our steaks were excellent. My wife (birthday girl) had the ribeye steak as recommended by the waiter. It was very flavorful and cooked to perfection. I split a filet mignon with my daughter and it too was very good. My son ordered the tuna and he seemed to enjoy that but he's too hard to pin down for an opinion but he ate every bit of it.
All-in-all a very pleasant evening. But be forewarned it's not a place to go on a limited budget.
