Following the theory that kids learn more when they enjoy it, Imagine It! is a fun, educational experience in museum's clothing. Learning zones and exhibits, planned especially for children ages two through eight, include a friendly forest for toddlers, a 'Fundamentally Food' zone (with a crawl-through Swiss cheese), and an area where young visitors can cut loose through dance, music, art and sand sculptures. All activities are also designed for children with special needs. For school field trips, the attractions here can be incorporated into lesson plans, and educators will find all necessary information and forms on the museums Web site.

Imagine It! houses a 16,000-square-foot exhibition space, two learning labs and a shop. Though there is no restaurant, healthy snacks are available in a vending machine area.

Tickets may be purchased online, by phone or at the museum. Discount rates are available for groups of 10 or more with advance registration. Imagine It! rents its facilities for corporate and themed birthday party packages, which are available daily at three scheduled times.
