Best coffee, slow service

Their coffee menu is unbelievable, they have a great dinner menu with all items available until they close, and they are the ONLY place in the Dunwoody area to grab some good food, dessert, or a coffee until 1am on a weeknight. My only complaint is that too often their service is slow. I tolerate the slow service because the food is great and the atmosphere is nice.

Business and Pleasure

My first visit to Cafe Intermezzo was because of a class project. My group decided to highlight restaurants and shops that would fit a college budget. Even though I was there on business I did have the oppurtunity to indulge in their desserts and drinks. But I think what I love the most would be the ambience of the entire place...

I recently discovered Cafe Intermezzo with a friend of mine and we loved it. The atmosphere is great, oreo cheesecake...the best and wide range of coffee to choose from. The last 2 times I went to waitresses were nice, but they took awhile to give us the check. I will keep going back for sure.

If you want great coffee, decent atmosphere, and indifferent service from rude waitstaff, then you REALLY owe it to yourself to check out Intermezzo.
It's a shame, since this was once one of my favourite places for coffee, drinks and conversation in Atlanta. THe quality of service has deteriorated markedly in the last two years or so, and after my most recent experience, I WON'T be going back. One should NOT have an hour and a half go by with no sign of one's waiter, especially in an establishment that's only about 50% full (if you want to check it oput anyway, by all means, do so...maybe you'll be lucky enough to get a waiter who actually knows his job).

This place is wonderful, I ordered the cafe coffee Irish drink with bailey. It was so smooth taste.. The dessert I cannot describe it, It is the bomb! I am looking forward to going back there again with my new girlfriend and we gonna out on date there at Cafe Intermezzo it is defiently a romantic spot it has dimmed lights sleek. Which people able to focus on their lovers. If you get my drift? There you go.. I recommend for all romantic couples to go there. Ciao..

A Romantic Oasis

This establishment was unique and the food and service was amazing. The deserts were delicious and what an assortment!! I will be back many times in the future! There can be a wait at times but come on people, the place is popular, what do you expect.

I fell in love w/ Cafe Intermezzo almost as much as I was in love w/ the person that introduced me to this chic cafe. The selection of desserts is to die for b/c they offer such a wide variety. There is truly something for everyone - no matter what you're craving. I can also attest to the fact that it is the perfect nightcap for that "amorous first date" where you truly want to get to know the person.
