You've got to hand it to Paul Fleming, the man behind Ruth's Chris Steakhouse, P.F. Chang's and now, a successful upscale and urban steakhouse concept. Fleming's Steakhouse combines a hip vibe -- including a glowing globe light fixture -- with nouveau steakhouse fare. Sure, you'll find your standard porterhouses and ribeyes on the menu here, and the meat is tender and tasty enough to make the sauce options pointless. If you're looking for something slightly more gourmet, exotic options include shrimp encrusted with almonds and cilantro and pork rib chops baked with apple cider and Creole mustard. The side dishes (cheesy potatoes, asparagus in hollandaise, and spinach sauteed in brown butter, to name but a few) come in portions big enough to share with the whole family. With selections this rich, it's no surprise Fleming's is open for dinner only. Be sure to take advantage of the impressive rotating wine list, offering more than one hundred wines available by the glass.

Filet last night was fine but my steak-loving wife's rib-eye was fat filled. As bad as Vines' rib-eyes are these days. Fleming's must buy from the same purveyor

Steak was cooked to order and very good.
Drinks were good - service was very good.
Baked potatoe was old, spinach was frozen, creme bruli was too runny, Fleming potatoe was overcooked .
Will be awhile before I try Fleming's again.

Felt like i was at a buffet restaurant ,with wide open dinning, hardly no private booths, too bright inside, food , and wait staff ok, but on duty manager was a little strange

  • Most consistant restaurant

I have been to most of the fine dinning and chop house restaurants in Orlando and I'm always disapointed that I didn't go to Fleming's. Get the mixed grill, it's always exelent.

The bar is initmate and service seemed good. Dining room is attractive and service is excellent. Prices are high. Sunday nights offer a $27.95 prime rib dinner. The salads were good, the sides (get the grilled vegtables) and the deserts were excellent. The prime rib was mediocre. Another in our party rated his steak average also. Without a special, everything is ala carte although the side dishes will feed two. Wine averages $12 per glass, coffee $3-4. Figure $100-150 per couple with a drink, wine, salad, steak, side and desert.

This place does not offer value, but it offers ambiance and good service.
