Ybor City's only brewpub dispenses handcrafted microbrews to modern-day draft animals in a restored 100-year-old horse stable. Tampa Bay Brewing Company attracts singles, sports fans and beer connoisseurs, plus couples seeking the second-floor patio. Many menu items reflect a dunking in the suds, such as the Drunken Shrimp. Try the blue crab cakes topped with honey-porter fruit salsa and coconut, or the addictive Burning Wings of Fire.

But most folks come for the burgers, a legend in their own time. The 15th Street burger is topped with smoked gouda, plus a hefty dose of BLT. Seminole Heights is a blackened burger with jalapenos, cheddar and sour cream. The Chef's Choice adds goat cheese and the Rough Rider gets a kick from chili verde. There's also a touch of pub grub here: Try the Ploughman's cheese and meat platter, or shepherd's pie.
