To the locals, Bayshore is known for two things: fitness fanatics and Pach's Place, a family-owned breakfast and lunch hotspot catering to nearby office workers and Hyde Park residents hankering for good grub. Hungry joggers, walkers and in-line skaters come here looking to refuel after a workout along the Boulevard. Pach's (pronounced 'patch'ss') features classic breakfast items -- regulars swear by the omelets and pancakes. And other breakfast-all-day options (served till 2PM) include pancakes, bagels and French toast.
Grab a sandwich, salad or burger for lunch or enjoy a more inspired daily special like meatloaf, fajitas or yellow rice with chicken. Despite its office-building location, Pach's is surprisingly casual, with a sparsely decorated yet amply furnished dining room. The vibe is a long way from nearby Soho's hipper-than-thou hotspots, but if you're looking for a filling feed at the right price, you can't go wrong here. Table service is quick and friendly and sure to keep you coming back for more.

Change your coffee, PLEASE!
The breakfast at Pach's is not too bad, they cater to a regular old crowd who have been around since Noah built the Ark and their accustomed to really BAD totally taste-less coffee, really horrible, probably the very worst coffee in the whole of Tampa. However, even with the complaints about the gross-coffee they still pull a decent crowd, obviously their doing something right. BUT, if they were to CHANGE their coffee and match the food with a bean that has a taste of 20th century palates, they would have to turn people away for lack of room. Pach's please, I beg of you, CHANGE your coffee, Seattle is served at Steak&Shake but who wants their food? Get it? Clearly, up the ante and bring balance to the palate with coffee that actually taste like coffee.
Add CommentWhat a wonderful place!

I was in Tampa from out of town a few weeks ago, went on a cruise that left the Port of Tampa. Stopped in Pach's Place before we left, then made a note to stop in again once we came back. The breakfast was so good. Next time I am in Tampa, I am going to remember to stop in at Pach's Place for a great taste of Tampa!
Great, cheap food!
Get the Pach's Sunrise Special! It comes with eggs, potato, toast, breakfast meat, juice, and coffee for only $5.50! Other combinations were equally as cheap. Everything tasted great and the servers are very friendly! I'm from out of town, so this was a nice treat! Highly recommended!
Great!
I stopped in to eat at Pach's Place during the Gasparilla Kid's Parade. I went with a friend and I ordered a cuban sandwich, it was very very good and pressed just the way I like it! I have eaten a cuban sandwich at pretty much every place in Tampa, and Pach's Place is on the top of my list, great price and great service. We had a blast and I will be visiting Pach's Place very often ;)
I finally found it!
This is going to be the place I get my breakfast from now on, every morning I stop in and get a delicious bagel, and if I am in the mood for a tasty omellete, you can't go wrong with Pach's Place! :)
