After paying the hefty cover charge, the juice bar seems even tougher to bear. That is until you get a gander at what you've come to a club like 2001 Odyssey for -- naked dancers and some of Tampa's favorites. This nude club is typical of the strip-club scene in Tampa, with a runway stage that lets the dancers navigate their way to the biggest tippers, mirrors, chrome, spinning lights and bouncers that look like former NFL linemen.
Finding the club is no problem -- just look for the big spaceship along Dale Mabry Highway. The space-age decor is somewhat cheesy, but fitting, creating an almost Barbarella effect. They go all out to bring you nude entertainment, and have been voted best strip club in the past.
At 2001 you'll find a VIP room and the champagne room for special (in the money) guests.
TIP: The entrance fee is less than half price during the day.

Yeah, but $5 just to get into those "private" rooms
AskDave411 - 08/16/2009INCREDIBLE GIRLS. Gotta look for magazine coupons for free admission though. High pressure. Not much room to get comfotable. Always more girls than men. Yeah, and don't forget the $5 you'll pay the bouncer just to let you behind the curtain with each girl. Tight little booths don't offer girl much room to dance...Mons lets them really get into it. $10 for a non-alch drink?? Girls just don't take a polite "No" for an answer and get kinda rude on top of that. Spaceship a money and time rip-off and Champagne Room even worse. Only difference in CR from booths was she could take my shirt off and then spend the rest of the time watching herself in the mirror. Didn't even get champagne. Girls are being watched every minute with abundant cameras and eyes, so nothing extra gets done. Don't stay long or you'll lose every penny you've got.

I don't know what the reviewer meant by 'Hefty cover" It's only $15 to get into this place and it's $20 across the street at Mons. This place has privacy to do your dances and Mons doesn't. The women here are amazing! They hire all types and the women are BEAUTIFUL and NICE. (Keep up the good work on the hiring!) The ONLY club IMHO that is worth going to if you are in Tampa! I'm never disappointed by this club.
