Tasty menu items, cheap prices and exceptional nightly entertainment make Ringside Cafe a favorite for regular barflies and music lovers alike. The menu features a good mix of standard bar fare and flavorful home-style specialties. Spicy tomato bisque and the tender grouper sandwich are popular choices, and weekly specials include all-you-can-eat baby back ribs. Apart from the killer local bands that perform, what keeps the regulars coming back are the burgers, the most popular lunchtime pick. They char-grill them here, and a huge pile of fries comes alongside.

The atmosphere lacks pretension, adding to the appeal -- but you can still get away with ordering a martini if beer doesn't strike your fancy. Though you can come to enjoy food and drinks and avoid the music by sitting upstairs, live blues performances by mostly local artists comprise the best element of Ringside Cafe, so be sure to sit up front for at least a set or two. You can also get down on the dance floor.

    Ringside consistently has the best-tasting burgers and sweet potatoe curls around and the owner is there every day, meeting and greeting customers. Not a franchise, locally-owned...type of business we should be supporting.

    I've been going to the Ringside (and playing flute & sax there too) since the mid '80s. Great stuff constantly both food and music. I can't believe that nobody's posted....

    There is a $5.00 cover charge. I ordered a Kettle One and he sure did not taste like one. The band was terrible. Dress code is 10 stepts below casual.

    Dont expect attentive wait staff or a charming dining area. But if you want to hear a great band you have came to the right place.
