Evoking memories of a 1960?s jet-set Rio de Janeiro get-away, Samba Room revives the lost rhythms of Cuban, Brazilian, Peruvian, Argentine and Caribbean style in an upscale, white-linen Latin café where Bossa Nova dance rhythms carry chile-laden and mango infused aromas through a palm-tree accented dining room and a serpentine bar.

We live up north but everytime we come to Florida we make it a point to go to Samba Room. The drinks are fabulous, the food is always tasty and the staff rounds out the top of the line service! Thanks for being such a great, reliable place to eat!

This was my first time and won't be my last. The food and service was amazing. It is rare that you get both, usually it is one or the other. I highly recommend to everyone. I had the seabass and my friend had a skirt steak. Both had such get flavor. We are actually going back this weekend for dinner and dacing.

For me (us) it was wonderful. Great service, excellent drinks, wonderful ambience, competitve prices, good looking, clean and attentive staff. We were seated inside next to the patio windows (hot and muggy outside) and still had a great view! It was somewhat loud, but there was a party going on which we joined. I almost proposed...whew...it was that nice. You have to try the Paella

  • Great Choice away from the norm..

I have to agree with the last two posts....this place is really a great restaurant. I too don't always jump at the opportunity to go out and eat Latin food, but Samba has changed my ways! The servers are always friendly, no matter the night of week. The food is always just right! I often eat lunch over there, and they have a great menu that does not keep you out of the office long. Would certainly recommend to anyone looking for a great place to eat. The overall atmosphere is great as well. I have not been myself, but have heard from friends that the dancing on weekends is a lot of fun.

  • Awesome Place

I noticed that this place hasn't been rated in a few years and needs an update. Although they had a rocky start, they are now under new management and as a result this place rocks! The food is delicious, the drinks are out of this world, and I haven't had bad service the past 15 times I've gone. This is one of my favorite restaurants in Orlando! (ps-the coconut shrimp is the best!)

  • Unsure @ First, now I am a regular

I must say that I would not have gone on my own to the Samba Room simply because I was not familiar with Latin/Cuban Food...now I am hooked. I went for a Bachlorette Party and eventhough the restaurant was "booming" with business, our Food was AWESOME, Service was IMPECABLE and Pricing was REASONABLE. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND the Samba Room for a night out with friends or a loved one!!

I think this resturant lacks in service and the quality of food. I would not recommend this to anyone. I ate here 3 years ago and it was okay,I ate there 2 weeks ago and it was the worse food i have ever eaten.

Samba Room is one of my favorite spots in Orlando. The food is great and the music too. I love the seabass dinner. You have to go and try it out.

I heard great things about this place but unfortunately the food was unimpressive in portion and flavor especially for that price. Service is adequate.

The restaurant is beautiful, and has a nice atmosphere, unfortunately the food was not half as good. Sorry.
