The pillage and plunder theme pervades from the moment you kick off your Pirate's Dinner Adventure at this I-Drive dinner theater. You arrive as a special guest of Princess Anita and are treated to a welcome hors d'oeuvres buffet, but pirates soon take over the party. They plunder the island and take you captive, but your punishment is easy to swallow -- feast on a meal fit for a king rather than prisoner, while the marooning and marauding goes on in your midst. The dining area is set against an impressive maritime backdrop, and it's hard to concentrate on your 'Buccaneer Beef' when an impressive sword fight catches your eye (the actors are well trained in stage antics, and the special effects are among the best you'll find outside the theme parks).

The food adheres to the pirate theme in name only (items called Treasure's Chicken, Walk-the-Plank Vegetables and Matey Bread are really just traditional American comfort foods), but it adds to the fun. After the feast, it's off to another elaborate set for the pirate's disco party where you can mingle with the cast while enjoying an ample dessert buffet -- count on someone from the audience getting pulled up on stage to take on the role of a real marauder. Check the theater's official website for special discounts.

Took my nieces from Illinois and my family we all loved it, and had a great time more than what we were expecting. loved all the acrobatics in the show and the story line the comedy in it . The best improvement you can make to the this is to offer seconds on dinner , my husband said he left still hungry , and have a longer pirates after bash party for the evening The girls didnt want to leave the dancing and the fun they were having .Still we all had a great Time

My family and I enjoyed the show and all that accompanied it. we spent alot of money but what else do you do on vacations? We upgraded our tickets and my husband and I were priviledged to get to be apart of the show. For the money you spend, this show is great family enterrainment, especially if you have a child who is into theater. Thanks to the cast and crew for a great family night out.

Really, really awful! The sound system was terrible and we could not understand most of what was said. The two children in our group (ages 6 and 9) asked if we could leave rather early in the show (not a good sign as the show seemed to run on forever). The four adults in the group hated it as well. The rice listed on the menu was not served, the bread roll was not served hot as listed, and the whole thing was vastly overpriced. Nothing at all to recommend it.

I have visited Pirate's 3 times in the past month... I am friends with half of the cast and I enjoy watching my friends put on an excellent show...they are all full of talent and put part of themselves into the show...the way that the auditorium is set up everyone is put into the best seats..there are no nose bleed sections like the arena seating of arabian nights and medieval times...also I love that the majority of the show has guest intereaction, both kids and adults alike...Plus the food accomodates everyone's taste buds, prime rib, potatoes, veggies, chicken, rice, chicken tenders, and cinammon apple pie a la mode...Also I love the fact that there is an actual story line that is laid out in front in the pre-show and then is added onto during the show...as well as the yummy appetizers at pre-show from 630 til showtime! I love you guys!! Plus, Ethan, Joop, and Blake kick butt! Heather

Not Broadway production. Ok for a nite out. Inexpensive. Meal included. Not sure if vegetarian plate available. Food average and made for the average Joe/ nothing fancy. Matches the pirate theme. Enjoy!
