You'll be forgiven for thinking you've had one too many and somehow been transported to the French Quarter of the Crescent City. Pat O'Brien's at CityWalk is an exact replica of its founding father -- the legendary New Orleans bar that practically defines Mardi Gras. From the flaming-fountain patio to the dueling pianos and beer steins hanging from the rafters in The Main Bar, no detail has gone amiss. Perhaps the only noticeable difference is the shiny-new look of the dark wood paneling in the Orlando location, which opened in 1999.
Even the hurricanes here pack the same punch, made to the original New Orleans recipe as they are -- you can take your glass home as a souvenir, too (a particularly handy reminder of your visit should one too many hurricanes lead to memory impairment). Unlike in the Big Easy, they're a bit stricter on carding at O-Town's Pat O's. It's 21-and-up to catch the nightly Duelling Pianos sing-along, but depending on the mood of the management you might not be asked to pay the cover. Daily happy hour from 4-7PM features domestic draft and well drink specials. And when the munchies strike, you can choose from Po Boy sandwiches, jambalaya, Crawfish Nachos and more.

Cit's Best? Are you kidding!
I use to live in New Orleans and I 've been to the original and the the Univerisal one many times. Some of the entertainers are okay at the Universal club, but some are a complete snooze. One ballad after another! Plus everytime I go, my husband and I are the only people in the place. Borrrrrriinngg......! If you want to have fun and see a stellar dueling piano bar show, go to Howl at the Moon on I-drive. We take friends there all the time, when they come in town, and they love it. Pat O's can't hold a candle to Howl at the Moon on any night of the week. Check them out and you'll see what I mean!

Extremely Talented Entertainment all evening long. My only regret was that I could not stay longer that evening. I would drive from Tampa every weekend just to enjoy the entertainment.

LOVE IT! I've been to the New Orleans one quite a few times and I have been going here for three years now. Not a big difference. The sports bar, the flaming fountain bar, and the piano bar. One minor problem - there's one elderly lady who plays the piano who I don't care for. Other than that - a great time ALWAYS!
Missed Mardi Gras?
I will have to say that this was one of the best places I have been too. If you are looking for a good time , this is where it is at. Keep the beads coming boys ;)!

Great place, hurricanes leave a little something to be desired. Do NOT miss Dueling Pianos.

Wish more folks knew about this place! Nothing beats the real thing in New Orleans; at the Orlando version the floor is almost too clean, and it doesn't have that "too much party" smell, if you know what I mean, which is part of the nefarious charm of hte original. The hurricanes are just as excellent, however, and the shrimp po-boy is as good as any I've had on the Gulf Coast.

I was really excited about going to this place, because I had heard about the rep of its New Orleans and Cancun locations. However, this place was terrible. On a Saturday night, the place was very empty, and filled with an older crowd. The bartender had no clue why the place was dead. I guess it would be OK if it were packed, though.
