Though Le Peep is in the heart of tourist country, it's really the locals who frequent this spotless little eatery located near the Universal Studios entrance. Plenty of business is conducted over bottomless cups of coffee, but this is a place to come hungry, with a vast breakfast menu that makes it hard to choose. Omelettes or eggs Benedict? Belgian waffles or a stack of pancakes? You'll find all the early bird classics, and some creative breakfast options, too.

There are dozens of egg creations and every one of them is delicious. For a light bite, try the breakfast banana split with bananas, strawberries, strawberry yogurt, blueberries and granola. But the biggest sellers are the skillet dishes, like the Gypsy -- potatoes, ham, onions, mushrooms, cheese and basted eggs.

If breakfast fare isn't your favorite, Le Peep also offers shakes and smoothies, pastas, salads, burgers and grilled paninis -- it's a safe bet that there's something on this menu to suit your fancy. Green's the theme at the restaurant, with vinyl booths the color of broccoli and bright lighting throughout assuring the atmosphere wakes you up if the strong coffee doesn't.

  • Are we being honest?

Being a fan and a loyal customer of Le Peep for 10 years now, I can not believe this last review. I have always felt so welcomed and respected by both the management and the staff. As for the cleanliness, I have never seen any issues, even on the busiest of days...and the place has been newly painted and looks wonderful! As for the food, it beats the other's hands down. I almost wonder if this has become more like a political debate, than a true review. I hate to think that anyone would stoop that low.

  • Terrible Food and Service!

    Review rating : 1out of 5   Alwysummer21 - 05/30/2008

How anyone would ever go to this place twice is beyond me. My husband and I had a coupon for this place so we decided to try it out. From the moment we walked in we were highly dissapointed. It was like walking into someone's dirty living room, which wouldn't be so bad excpet that the toast tasted like rust, I could barely stomach it. I sent it back and the second piece they sent me tasted the same so I just gave up at that point and looked around wondering anyone else had done the same. The eggs were just eggs, nothing special or fantastic and the smoothie I orded was so overpriced for what they gave us. To top it off when we went to pay the cheapskate manager didn't even want to honor our coupon and couldn't have been more rude to us if we spit in his face. Speaking of spit, I wouldn't be surprised if I ingested some in that poor excuse for a meal I ate there. The only positive thing about eating at Le Peep was that I didn't pay full price since I had a coupon. Oh and I forgot to mention, the coupon was good for one whole meal to be free but instead the manager took off a side item for like 99 cents and refused to take a full meal off. I walked out of the restaurant feeling like a little kid who just got beat up by the school bully. If you value good service as well as etible food than I would definitely reccomend passing on Le Poop, I mean Peep.

  • Food and Service impeccable!

    Review rating : 5out of 5   NuInAtl - 05/18/2008

My family and I have been frequent visitors of Le Peep for the past couple of years. The service is the best in Orlando, from the friendly host up front to the personal attention received from the servers! As for the food, it has always been the best; pancakes, omelettes, begian waffles, even the rye toast. AND everything is cooked to order which makes it even better! Definitely a favorite among many!!

  • Great Place!!

    Review rating : 5out of 5   mfmxxvwx - 05/17/2008

This place is great! Beats going to Dennys or other spots that don't care about you. You always feel welcome and part of the family. Foods prepared well, taste great and special requests are always taken care of by the staff. Don't consider the reviews that are years old.... this is a well kept secret for Breakfast or Brunch.

  • How could this place be No. 1

    Review rating : 1out of 5   kmahen - 02/10/2008

I recently visited Le Peep in Orlando. This place is FILTHY. They have only had 1 good review since 2004.

Avoid the place unless you really miss that greasy spoon your grandparents took you to for the $1.99 breakfast.

Did I mention that this place is FILTHY.
