You'll feel like you've walked into a lily pad wonderland in this place -- it's decked to the rafters with frog paraphernalia, most of which has been donated by enthusiastic regular patrons. The restaurant is situated just across the street from Redington Beach, so you can enjoy the view while enjoying a wide array of made-to-order items. Nibble on the crab and cream cheese omelet or thick, oversized waffles topped with fresh fruit. Crepes and quiche are perfect for a light brunch. And the dress code is Florida all the way -- casual and tourist-friendly, though ladies should put a shirt on over their bathing suit tops if coming straight from the beach. A couple can eat for under $20, and you can try calling ahead to gauge the wait, but they don't take reservations. And for those who are later risers, it's lunch only after 11AM.

I've never been disappointed
brandonresales - 04/23/2006I've been going to the Frog Pond since 2000, and I travel 50 miles to get there. It is the best breakfast/lunch restaurant in the Tampa Bay area. Everything is prepared fresh, and nothing is commonplace. There is something on the menu for everyone. This is a "must" for out-of-town visitors, and if you live here, now is the time to experience The Frog Pond.

neidinger4 - 03/30/2004You can go anywhere and get an average breakfast. When you go to The Frog Pond you will have one of the best meals of your life. This restaraunt has been open 22 years and thrives on making the meal an experience. Five to seven egg omelettes with all fresh veggies and shaved meats. Seasoned home fries come to the table and your mouth completely waters. Beautiful crisp belguim waffles with fresh strawberries and peaches. Don't forget about all the different benedicts made with fresh homeade holl. sauce. Fresh fruit is cut every morning to enjoy and promate healthy eating. The fresh fruit blintz turns heads as it comes through the dining room. Clean and effecient servers that treat you as if you eat there every day. This is the only overall breakfast place where you will go home and spread the word about the great place you went to.
