Reservations????

It seems like there is a common theme here. I am a restaurant manager and understand the biz and all of the challenges. My suggestion to the Chef/Owner...Do not accept reservations!! Follow the policy that Joe's has and all of the High rollers that choose to can slip the Maitre'D some cash to get a table right away. Do not tell people they have a reservation and then seat them an hour after that time. That has happened to me twice, out of 4 visits. If this happens in my restaurant I would at least buy an appetizer or two or a couple of drinks, after I apologized, and my restaurant doesn't even take reservations. I never even recieved an apology. The lobster bisque is the best, and the steaks, and grouper is very good. This is a very flashy, glitz and glam restaurant, and that is what you are paying the high prices for.

Poor service

We had a party of 7 so we had to waite 2 hours to not get what we ordered.
Our food came at separate times and my steak was well done when I orderd medium.
DO not waste your time when I told them my steak was well done they would not take it back. Horrible experience and will never go back as they do not care to even offer us dessert

I was oo looking forward to trying Prime 112. The only res. we could get was 6:30. They reminded us to please come on time or we will have to wait a while.
We arrived right on time and were shown to the bar to wait. Bad start. We waited 50 min. for our table. I had to keep checking.... nobody came over to keep us advised
Waiter was knowlegable and polite. 4 of us tried a cross section of steak / fish / appetizers etc.
Mortons/ Palm has better steaks. Other food was ok. Drinks and food were "South Beach" priced and I have no desire to return.

I am fortunate to travel extensively for business and pleasure, throughout the world. I am always in search of the best restaurants in every city I visit. As a life-long South Florida resident, I feel that Prime 112 is one of the BEST restaurants I have ever eaten at, every time I dine there. The food, service, scene, staff, etc. are exceptional. I have enjoyed every dining experience I have had at Prime 112. When my family and I arrive, we are treated very well............We are addressed by our names, seated at great tables, and provided the BEST food and service EVER. Of course, we are "regulars," and I appreciate the fine attention to detail and 100% customer satisfaction. I look forward to each eveing I am dining at Prime 112. Thank you for bring this first class dining experience to my home town. Sincerely, Robert

The food was good, but the place is too small and very, very loud. Tables are too close to one another, and you are not able to have a conversation without screaming at the person next to you

I HAVE EATEN THERE MAYBE 5 TIMES, NOT IMPRESSED AT ALL AND I THINK YOU GET BETTER AND ALOT QUIETER AT RUTHS CHRIS OR MORTONS AND BETTER SERVICE. ALOT OF MONEY FOR ALOT OF NOISE.

I have never had a bad meal in the 10+ times I have been to Prime 112. The sliders are a great way to the meal and their steaks are killer (this coming from a true New Yorker). The ambiance is as good as it gets, happening bar, celebrities, great people, you name it and they have it. They also have an extensive lunch menu which is a great alternative if you can't get reservations. Overall it is a great place and a must try when in Miami.
