Tampa residents with Northeastern roots proudly proclaim that they can finally get a real slice of pizza in the Bay area. Westshore is just a small parlor, but the owner is from Philly and he brought all of the region's secret pie recipes along with him. Along with the thin crust NY- style varieties, diners are also treated to some of the best Philadelphia cheese steaks in Florida and a variety of Italian specialties such as stromboli, calzones and some wings and subs. Catch the score of the big game on the restaurant's perfectly placed TV while dining on your favorite Westshore menu item. Bring a group of your pals or your entire family -- everyone feels comfortable and relaxed at this laid-back dining establishment. -- Amie Leavitt

I recently had lunch at what turned out to be the original Westshore Pizza on Westshore Blvd in Tampa, FL. I don't normally order cheesesteaks at a pizza joint, but this day I was in the mood for a good sandwich. I took a chance and ordered the cheesesteak with onions and peppers. Much to my surprise this was the best cheesesteak I have ever had. If you could see a picture of me you would know that I have eaten my share of good sandwiches. There was a very nice young lady working the front counter that day. She took my order and made sure I had a good seat and an Ice cold Pepsi. I told her that I really liked the sandwich, and the next thing I new the cook was at my table chatting with me. I felt like I was at a neighborhood, Mom and Pop pizza shop instead of a big chain. The food was awesome, the people made me feel at home and the free WiFi was a major bonus. I highly recommend Westshore Pizza.
Worst Pizza in Tampa Bay
This poll is the worst that I have ever seen. Westshore serves about the worst pizza in Tampa Bay. They must get alot of friends and relatives to send in votes for them. What a waste.
DIFFERENT LOCATIONS MAKE THE DIFFERENCE

Where as I love Westshore Pizza I must tell readers not every location is the same. My experience on Gunn Hwy have been 3 lousey experiences in a row a few years back and while it is only one mile away I will drive 5-6 miles to the location on Lambright which has disappointed only a couple times in the last 6 years. S.Westshore isn't too bad either- just outside my neighborhood. But over all the ingredients are very tasty and the crust has a nice flavor- a real bargain price wise and well worth the drive past poo poo Johns and pizza yuck
The worst yet
Talk about the worst pizza experience ever! When we got our pizzas it literally looked like someone had been playing Frisbee with them. They were both completely smashed to one side of the box, not even noticeable as a pizza shape anymore. One was completely burnt on the under side, and to top that, they tasted horrible.
