A Florida chain known for barbecue done right, Park Avenue offers hearty, down-home, Southern-style fare. Eats are cheap but substantial, and include classic BBQ-joint offerings like ribs, slaw, baked beans and fries.

But Park Avenue takes a few baby-steps outside the typical with a wine list, Buffalo chicken wings and fried chicken. The chicken is fried fresh for every order so expect a 20-25 minute wait (we hear is well worth it). Dessert options are just as heavy, countrified and classic: peanut butter pie and buttermilk cake.

    If you like par boiled and baked ribs, then this is the place for you. There is nothing authentic from a true BBQ sense of the word about these ribs. Convienent? Yes. Great if you like french fries and beans. If you expect real BBQ, then you don't know it, if you expect to get it here.

    none of these bbq spots compare to the yummy goodness of pa bbq the best babybacks by far tried all other spots and none come close the staff is awesome the management is always there for you they make sure u leave happy and full there r many other locations i frequent the north palm location at least once a week and never leave unsastisfied cant say that for those other bbq joints listed

    The Wellington PA is just the best. We love the ribs but one of us is not a rib person and LOVES the chicken salad. My husband loves the Saturday night all you can eat catfish and also the chicken.

    DON'T KNOW ABOUT LAKE WORTH. WE USE WELLINGTON. ALWAYS GREAT AND MGR IS AROUND EVERY TIME WE VISITED

    I can't say much about anything else on the menu, but the ribs are delicious. The ribs are very tender and fall off the bone. The price is very reasonable and the portions are large. Great BBQ stop!

    Park Ave in Lake Worth has been a wonderful place with great bbq, service, and nostalgic atmosphere for many years. Lately, the chicken portions have been drasticly reduced ( breasts are half normal size) and they play "drama rock" which seems to clash with the old photos and memorabilia that is hung on the walls. If they would change the theme pics and such to match the depressing drama rock (ie,anorexic junkies) then they would reach their end a bit more quickly than seems apparent. The last time we were there, the place was empty and no one even stopped by our table to ask how we were doing. I would have told them these concerns. Looks to me that the boss is absent.
    Sort of sad.
