A Florida chain known for barbecue done right, Park Avenue offers hearty, down-home, Southern-style fare. Eats are cheap but substantial, and include classic BBQ-joint offerings like ribs, slaw, baked beans and fries.
But Park Avenue takes a few baby-steps outside the typical with a wine list, Buffalo chicken wings and fried chicken. The chicken is fried fresh for every order so expect a 20-25 minute wait (we hear is well worth it). Dessert options are just as heavy, countrified and classic: peanut butter pie and buttermilk cake.

Not bad BBQ for South Florida

Tdbmaytrans is way off the mark about the par boiled comment.The ribs and all there bbq are done in a special smoker cooker and it taste pretty good.I've gotten great sevice every time at the St.Lucie West site.Great pricing and large portions are more then enough to keep me coming back.If you want authentic bbq thats smoked for 12 hours then get in your car and head for the Carolina's

It doesn't matter which location I visit, I always receive stellar service from their friendly staff, and they always make me feel at home. The food is always great and priced so it won't break my budget. I would recommend Park Avenue to anyone who is looking for a great meal and super-friendly service! Kudos!!!!

I have gotten to know the majority of the staff and managers and I can say not only do I have great service when I go there but I have friends too. The food is delicious and it comes to our table very quickly and has nice presentation. The dessert is to die for! -especially the buttermilk cake! I would highly suggest this restaurant to anyone. It has been around for YEARS and I do not think it will be going anywhere anytime soon. Thanks PA BBQ!

Coming from nashville I was skeptical how good Florida BBQ would be...after trying several places that attempted real BBQ i was blown away by the ribs pork and chicken at Park Ave.
