One trip to this family-owned gem, located by the Lake Worth Pier, will show you why so many people wait patiently for a table week after week. During season, lines can stretch around the block. The breakfast menu is filled with so many selections that it might be hard to make a choice. The signature Cinnamon-Nut French Toast is popular, as is the Raisin Cream Cheese French Toast. Meat, such as bacon, strip steak and Canadian pea meal bacon offer a grand addition to the breakfast selections. If you're watching your carbohydrate intake, numerous egg and omelet dishes will fill you up without blowing your diet.
Want lunch instead? Standard beach fare like hot dogs and deli subs are available. More sophisticated diners will love the oversized pasta dishes, including Linguine Seafood Newburg en Casserole and Greek Shrimp. Nclancey - 06/18/2008Sure it's just breakfast. But not the way they present it. If you have breakfast like this daily then you must be a great cook. I'd stand in line anywhere for a John G's breakfast. Hey! I'm making myself hungry. Sorry! I have to leave but I'm heading for John G's, high gas prices or car pools. It's the taste of the beach.
