Solid Performance
EwingsNC - 10/27/2008Ok. This place did well, not the best, but good. It is not a Romantic place, but nice for drinks and casual dinner. First date or special occassion...No. Food is well prepared and tastes good. Wine list is reasonable and affordable. Really well laid out and solid service too. Menu leaves a bit to be desired..not enough true Italian dishes..its a bit heavy for that, but still good. Worth a trip for a nice evening out, but you might need a reservation and kids..well..if you are the parent..then bring them..if they run you...leave them at home.

IreneVcabrera - 07/27/2008This place was great. Although Iâm not very sure why it was under the romantic section of this listing. When I went it was very bright and a few families with young kids. I will say the food and service was great and the atmosphere was very comfortable.

Can't Go Wrong Here
USETOBE - 06/15/2008Our table was ready as soon as we walked in the door. The staff could not have been more friendly and helpful with menu suggestions. The food was delicious and the atmosphere comfortable. This was our first visit to 518 West since moving to Raleigh, but it certainly won't be our last!
