Don't let the generic name or the somewhat sketchy location fool you; Spaghetti Warehouse is actually a relatively unheralded gem. Its cavernous dining room, decorated in a retro theme, is often filled with family gatherings, birthday parties and other large groups. They come for the tasty Italian food -- classic pasta dishes like spaghetti and meatballs, fettucine alfredo, ravioli and lasagna (including the house specialty, a 15-layer lasagna), plus hearty meat-based meals like chicken parmigiana , grilled ribeye steak and the "trolley stop," a steak-and-spaghetti combo. Desserts are predictably large, and include comfortable standards like cheesecake, tiramisu and 12-layer- cake. While Spaghetti Warehouse also does a bustling catering and private party business, including events of over 50 people, it's also an option for couples looking for quality food on a budget. Just make sure to be seated in a quieter section.

Have been to the restaurant at least a dozen times...Celebrated anniversaries, birthdays.Fathers Day, and also have been to a few showers there. The service may be a little slow but the food and the people who serve the food are extremely helpful..It is one restaurant where you can bring your own dessert when you have a party..That in itself is a big PLUS..We have dined with as little as 5 people and have also had over 50 guests..Its always been GRAND.Going back again this Sunday for Fathers Day. Another feature is that it is kid friendly.. A big bonus..And did I mention that the prices are great....

We ate there on a Sunday. I loved the decor, and hoped for the best. I really thought I found a great, new place to eat! We were left to sit by ourselves for quite a long time... Finally, a waiter came up to us, and asked us what we wanted to drink... We then sat there for about 15-20 minutes watching the same waiter serve a large party, still with no drinks and we hadn't even ordered our food... We then received our drinks (finally), and ordered... Our salads came, and there was so much dressing, it ruined the salad, not to mention that the dressing was entirely way too thick. Yuk! Then, they delivered our warm sourdough bread, which would have been delicious if it was served with *real* butter, vs. the garlic spread they gave us, which I disliked! Our appetizer was the mozzarella fritta, which was actually well made, except for the dipping sauce, which tasted awful! Then, our meals came (yes, we waited a long time)... and they appeared to have been sitting for awhile, as they were luke warm. My first few bites of the eggplant parm were awful... it was over-fried... sitting next to spaghetti with the same awful sauce that was used for the dipping sauce on the appetizer... Although impressive looking... it was pretty much inedible! I also ordered a side of meatballs... And, I have to say... they were DELICIOUS... one of the best I've ever had! Too bad the sauce was bitter, and pre-made... My boyfriend ordered a combo of lasagna and chicken parmesan... His chicken was deep fried so long that it was barely edible. He returned the dish to be recooked, and received another piece back (15 minutes later) that was equally over-cooked. My boyfriend loves lasagna, but disliked theirs immediately... he disliked the sauce, which was poured over the top of the dish...

Overall... Not a great experience... If they made their sauce fresh, it has a lot of potential... PLUS... stop the deep frying! It ruined both of our meals... Or at least teach the cook HOW to deep fry... It was not a good meal (except for the meatballs!) and honestly, I will never go back (unless I can just get meatballs to go!!!!!!)

  • Delicious.

Okay, the service isn't that great. Maybe it's just the timing of the times that I went there, but each time the waiters/waitresses were new and pretty . . . confused. Not that they were ignorant; they were just new and learning the ropes.

The amounts of whatever you order is pretty good. If you buy a soda, you probably won't be needing a refill any time soon.

Despite the fair service, the food's still delicious and the atmosphere is comfortable and friendly. Not to mention the old trolley car you can eat in and their mini "arcade" on the second floor.
