Set in the atrium of Disney's Contemporary Resort, Chef Mickey's beckons tourists to break bread with the Disney gang daily during breakfast and dinner. During breakfast, diners can expect a visit from Chef Mickey, Minnie, Pluto, Chip and Dale. Minnie and Pluto go AWOL for dinner, with Goofy and Donald Duck filling in. The characters make a point to swing by each table, so be patient and you'll get your turn.
Two different buffet lines cater to kids and adults. Breakfast is a classic spread of eggs, pancakes, waffles, fruit and cereal, with a few meat options and a salad bar. Dinner is more lavish (and more expensive), with carving stations and pasta among the options. But it's the character interaction, not the food, that's the main draw here. And even adults can't help but giggle like kids when Minnie bats her eyelashes and curtsies in their direction.

Will not do this again. Pros...the Food was good, plenty of variety. Cons... not enough attention from Mickey himself, brushed my daughter off a couple of times so she never got to take a picture with him!! It was supposed to be "breakfast with Mickey" after all. So...if you just want to meet with the characters, your best bet is early in the morning at Magic Kingdom and Animal Kingdom. Daisy Duck was MIA, never got a chance to see her our entire 6 day visit.
BEST VALUE @ DISNEY
Would you believe that my husband and I ate there while on our honeymoon? After all of the wedding stuff, and eating out for 2 weeks, I just wanted comfort food, namely macaroni and cheese. They had it, and other fabulous food finds too. It was very reasonably priced and very little wait. Plus, the characters were already there! You didn't have to make reservations and pay extra to see them. And the best part was after dinner, we jumped on the Monorail and watched the fireworks around the Seven Seas Lagoon. Best view I've ever had!!! P.S. I still have the autograph of all the characters over our bed :)
