Take a tropical vacation to the Rainforest Cafe and indulge in creative cuisine in an exotic setting that includes an indoor rain forest, cascading waterfalls, a fiber-optic starscape, live birds and giant aquariums. The menu features appetizers, sandwiches, salads and entrees with a Caribbean flair, and a list of fruit drinks that can be made with or without spirits. Signature entrees include the Cedar Wood Selections, a choice of farm-raised Atlantic Salmon Fillet or Jumbo Black Tiger Shrimp seared on a cedar plank and served with red-skinned garlic mashed potatoes and braised Napa vegetable slaw. Chicken, beef and vegetarian selections are also listed, as well as a brownie cake called a Giant Chocolate Volcano and the traditional Key Lime Pie. Specialty drinks like the JamaicaRita, the Lizard King Colada and Panama Punch are a few ways to compliment an adventurous dining experience. -- Heather Johnson

The best time to go is during the week when it's not that busy. The service is wonderful and the food even better. Everybody has to go there at least one time during their life. This place gets an A+ from me!!!

  • Good...maybe as a RIDE at Disney Land!

We have been to twice. The first time we went it was as a family. It was loud, sometimes painfully so, and the kids wre scared out of their minds. The "thunderstorms" were nice, but I can't help wonder what kind of mold problem they have with all that water. Whatever you do, don't sit by the gorillas. They are the most obnoxious of all the animals. The meals were just average, but the price was through the roof. The second time we went it was with a group party that started before the restaurant actually opened. They served a family style buffet and it was actually pretty good. Since we were the only group in there for a while it wasn't crowded and the service was good (But all the servers really had to do was fill drinks since the meal was already determined and carried out on huge plates). The Rain Forest would be a great RIDE or walk through creation, but to EAT there was over the top. Overall rating C+

  • Maybe great for kids..but..

This place maybe great for a certain age of children but it was so noisy that we could not even hear each other talk across the table. So if our friends said the food was okay. But my meal, which was one of the most expensive was a disaster..meat was dried out and some of it was cold. Service was hap-hazard at best. It was pretty though..but never again!!
