When SoCal residents want to eat a lot of good, Earth-friendly foods without paying an arm and a leg, they head for the Souplantation. The cafeteria-style eatery attracts crowds who want to load up on the all-you-can eat salad, soup and pasta bars, all of which are stuffed with plenty of options to create the perfect plate. Pick from items like red kidney or three bean salad, Chinese Chicken, beets, corn, tomatoes or one of five or six daily cold pasta salads, four soups -- one of which is always vegetarian -- hot pastas, homemade breads and afterwards, soft-serve ice cream and yogurt and fresh-baked cookies.

  • Healthy Food

The food CAN be very healthy if care in selecting is exercized. One must use caution when negotiating around the dining area with "loaded trays." Unattended kids often scamper around the dessert bar and usually are directly in one's "blind spot" (i.e., hidden by the tray). The food's good and fresh. I enjoy the soup bar as much as the plethora of salad selections.

Soup, Salad & Pasta -- OH MY! And all you can eat at that. Now you ask, "Why would I go there?" The answer, my dear, is simple; it’s called VARITY! When you arrive, you are greeted with salad selections chased by an array of toppings with cold pastas close behind. You follow up with your choice of hot soup with its counterpart; hot pastas.
This casual restaurant is family friendly and a good place to see college students hanging out, couples talking, people stuffing their faces and all the while, enjoying the food and having a good time.
At 10 bucks a pop (roughly per adult, cheaper for the kiddies), and parking validation, WHO COULD ASK FOR ANYTHING MORE? With new items being presented on a continuous base, no two plates are alike. I encourage you to give this place a try. With your first bite; you won’t be in Kansas anymore! By the way, did I mention they had dessert also? Cortez
