In Short
Whimsical antiques and decorative items--velvet armchairs, vintage-looking fringed lamps and booths made from iron bedsteads--fill the dining room. The OSF Classics menu offers spaghetti with a choice of mushroom sauce, rich meat sauce, browned butter and feta-like mizithra cheese sauce, and more. Other popular favorites are the baked lasagna--layers of noodles, tomato sauce and four kinds of cheese--and the fettuccine Alfredo. Meals include a green salad, fresh-baked bread and ice cream.

    wow really?
I love this place! Great food and the staff is like any resturant some people care about their jobs and tips others not so much. I try to get there at least every few months if i can find a sitter for our kids.

Come on, this isn't any more authentic Italian cuisine than Mac's lounge is a five star restaurant! As well the Service is mediocre at best. If it were not for the great atmosphere and historic building this restaurant would never make it on it's food quality and service alone...

I am a SF junkie from way back. I have been to almost every single one. Whenever I am in a new city I go to SF. You know exactly what you are going to get where ever you are. Great food and prices that can't be beat. If you are Italian why would you go out for Italian food. Stay home and have mama mia cook for you. Everyone else go and enjoy you won't be disappointed!!!

Nice atmosphere, however don't go here if you're even remotely Italian. Extremely low prices, then again Chef Boyardee is cheap too.
