Compari's began doing business with one casual location on Plano Parkway. As popularity increased, they opened up another, more upscale version on Preston Road. If tasty Italian food served in generous portions at reasonable prices is what you're looking for, then either Compari's will work for you. The menu is extensive with a balanced variety of chicken, seafood and vegetarian choices. An unlimited bowl of fresh, crisp salad is served with every entree and a nice, but limited, wine list is also available. The Plano Parkway location with its stylish, horseshoe-shaped main dining area separated by an elevated bar is open for lunch and dinner, while the Preston location is open for dinner only. Kid-friendly meals and the diversionary crayons are also available at both restaurants.

    Been going there for 15+ years. Food is always good (not stellar) and service adequate (considering the employee turnover) but the atmosphere on some nights can be cut with a knife. The new owners (approx 2yrs) are not people oriented and have run off most of the long time staff members. Their demeanor with customers is fine so long as youﾒre singing their praises or keeping your mouth shut. Just don't approach them with a problem, especially if they're the problem. They don't take objective criticism very well and it can really spoils an otherwise pleasant evening. We've now observed this behavior one too many times (not just at our table) and will not be going back until the ownership changes, again.

    compari's has wonderful food, and excellent service. try the chicken scallopine, or if you are lucky enough to be there when it's on special, the chicken cordon bleu is amazing. not to mention the salad, which i could eat all day.

    WWWWWWWOOOOOOOOOOOOWWWWWWWWWWWW! Compari's has awsome food go occasionally and love the food as well as the huge portions I always walk home STUFFED
    Service, however was so-so keeping me from giving Compari's five stars
