At Gino's East, you can scroll the signatures and graffiti that past patrons have left etched into the tables and scribbled on the walls. It'll distract you as your stomach rumbles and rumbles on for the deep-dish pies Gino's East is famous for. At the River North digs (it was in the Streeterville neighborhood for a number of years before moving here in 2000), they've tried to duplicate the atmosphere the original parlor had, from the hardwood booths to the old-fashioned service. The new location offers a newer, glitzier feel, thanks to the fact that it was the former home of Planet Hollywood. And it's still as boisterous as ever, with tablesful of young people, families and tourists snarfing down large amounts of cheese, sausage, spinach and specialty pizzas.
