One end of Arundel Mills Mall - wedged between Orange Julius on the inside and Damon's on the parking lot -- has been transformed into a Middle Ages castle, where Spanish monarch King Alfonso and his daughter, Princess Esperanza, take the concept of dinner and a show to new heights. Hip-hugger jeans and polo shirts meet velvet robes and crowns at Medieval Times, where patrons settle in for an evening of food and drink and knightly entertainment spectacles. Serving wenches carry kettles of soup, plates of garlic bread and platters of roasted chicken, spare ribs and herb-basted potatoes. Your meal also includes the castle's pastry du juor and beverages.
Once dinner is complete, settle into your arena seat to see the kingdom's fiercest warriors do battle. Using authentic weapons, knights engage in hand-to-hand combat and saddle up their trusty steeds for jousting tournaments. Andalusian stallions perform intricate dressage maneuvers to delight young and old. The performance is pricey, with a "royalty package" upgrade available for the best possible seats- but the choreographed extravaganza makes for a pleasing spectacle. -- Pete Kerzel

Loved it!
A bit pricey and food was so so, but the show was worth it all. The horses were wonderful, the knights handsome and the choreography fabulous and the good guy wins. We went with our grandson and we all loved it. Considering the cost of putting on a show like this I felt the price was fair and the regular seats offer as good a view as the royalty seats. It is fun and exciting and the show goes on from the moment you enter until you leave. Very entertaining and well done!!

At over $400. for 3 adults and 2 children this was definitely a one time thing. The food was mediocre at best, you eat with your fingers, ribs and chicken, drinking the first course soup out of the bowl. The jousting show was fun, except for the foggy mist part which made us all cough. I have to say the kids loved it but we all agreed that the food was not so good. Close your eyes as you walk through the extensive gift shop or you will easily spend another $50.
