There's a fine line between broken in and busted down, and the Mecca Cafe sits astride it. You won't find a highbrow selection of exotic taps, but you will find a great cross-section of people, and bartenders who really know how to pour. The trusty jukebox provides nightly entertainment, and the staff really hustles to accommodate hungry and thirsty patrons. The Mecca, along with its sister establishment the Five Point, provides a great everyday alternative to the plethora of yuppie hangouts encircling Queen Anne.
