My kinda place
NYMCNV - 06/12/2008I consider myself something of a dive bar con-a-sewer, pardon my french. I enjoyed my time at Champagne's Cafe. It's suitably dark, the alcohol is cheap enough, and nobody acted like an ass (I'm talkin' Vegas, remember?). Especially for drinking in the middle of a sun-blasted Summer day, the ambience was perfect, laidback but not suicidal. The barmaid was most gracious, easy on the eyes, and helpful when I finally required a cab. I liked her. If you prefer a smoky little elbow-bender to the over-priced hoohah of the Strip (I know I do), this would be a good place to check out.
