Don't let the line of Harleys parked out front deter you -- this is one of Charlotte's favorite dives. In the contagiously popular South End area, Vinnie's is a place where leather chaps-wearing bikers rub elbows with the clean-cut, polo and khakis J. Crew model wannabes. They join forces under the same mission: cheap beer and great seafood. One of the myriad attractions of this hole in the wall is the squadron of daisy- duke-clad waitresses that bring buckets of beer to your table in a modern-day St. Pauli Girl fashion. Don't miss the Monday night all-you-can-eat crab legs deal, though delectable seafood treats are on the menu any night of the week. Vinnie's is not hard on the eyes, or on the wallet with nightly dollar beer deals. Be forewarned: Many casual visitors have become addicted to this bar and have made it their solitary venue for food and beverage.

Whatadump! Terrible service, luke warm beer!
Bobdavischimney - 05/30/2008What a lame excuse for a bar/restaurant. It takes about 5-10 minutes to get a beer, then at least that long to get your second one. If it started out ice cold, it might still be drinkable when it gets to your table, but they aren't. The food is decent, but the service sucks. Apparenly the owner is so obsessed with loss prevention that he won't let the waitresses just grab another beer and put it on your tab. They have to "put in" for the beer, then they come back and tell you they put in for it. *****, don't even come back to my table without a beer after I asked for it! Customer service sucks, and if you don't watch it, they'll rig your tab before you leave.
