great food and service

The hummus is truly one of the best in DC, the kebabs are well seasoned and tasty, and the service was very prompt and endearing. There is also a great wine selection and all bottles are half-priced on Mondays, not too shabby!

somewhat dissappointed

We stayed in a nearby Wndsor Inn and had a dinner on April 5, 2006. The appetizers were much better than main courses. The lamb kebobs (I had a dinner with my daughter) were rubbery, the side dishes were somewhat below average. If in town again and stay nearby, will not come back. And the service was incredibly slow.

Are you aware that this restaurant gives work to people are NOT LEGAL in the United States? They are taking away from those who have worked hard to become legal in the United States. I think that it is an insult to all the millions of people who are trying to work and are LEGAL in the United States. They have an employee that goes by the name Rabia!! she is not legal, she has been using her sisters' identification to get by and work in good jobs. She not only works here but at a well-known hotel on Rhode Island Avenue called the Hotel Helix where everyone is aware that she is not legally working here in the US.

Great salads...I had the lamb kabob and there was enough food for two...good service, very reasonable prices for lunch and dinner. Parking can be difficult but worth the stop.

Fantastic service, wonderful food, lively atmosphere, several tables on the balcony for great warm weather dining. For such low prices this is a really fun, good dining experience. Highly recommend!!!!

This is a fun little restaurant with fantastic chicken kebab salads and grilled eggplant. The food is twice as good as other places that are twice as expensive.
