The oyster stew is out of this world, assuming it's still on the menu since I was in town last.

The Chesapeake Omelette with big fresh chunks of crabmeat is just a wonderful treat. I like the place. Have a beer in Grant's bar.

  • Great Location

Make sure you get a good table location here is all I can say. This place has many poor table locations and even a couple Siberias.

Usually good; but not great. Good atmosphere so go here at least once while you are in town.

  • Great for Romance

    Review rating : 5out of 5   WMGranger - 06/17/2008

This is the oldest establishment there is downtown! We loved hearing the romantic stories of both sets of parents as they told how they met and dated at the Old Ebbit Grill back when it was a cheap eats place. Still very low-priced, the restaurant offers a wide selection of oysters which are unforgettably mouth-watering. A great place for all kinds of seafood!
