A new 'it' spot opens: Beluga, where delicate Beluga caviar headlines the appetizers for diners willing to part with $195. Beyond the extravagant caviar, the menu is reasonably priced with indulgent entrees that are big enough to share: a 20-ounce pork porterhouse with roasted garlic mashed potatoes, crab-crusted grouper with warm potato-asparagus salad or a whole rack of lamb (the most expensive entree at $38). For our money, a seat at one of the three bars and a selection of Chef John Clark's appetizers is the way to go: crispy fried oysters with spicy Creole sauce, chili pepper shrimp with a soy-ginger sauce, stuffed dates wrapped with crispy bacon or a side of the crunchy fried asparagus, a perfect finger food. Diverse wines with two dozen by the glass and decadent desserts round out the Beluga experience.
Take your pick of three spaces for dining -- an outdoor bar and tables that bustle with a hip crowd sipping cocktails, the front dining room with two more bars and live music or the back room for quiet conversation. The interior is sleek with dark woods, tables covered in white paper and servers in black, bringing a new energy to Beluga's corner of Winter Park Village. -- Pam Brandon

Amazing Food and Atmosphere!
Beluga is a restaurant that I frequent often. Not only is the food fresh and amazing, but the atmosphere on a Friday night can't be beat. The service is always great. All of the staff always have such wonderful recommendations and I can't think of a better place for a special night out.

Went to Beluga with 7 other people, we all had an excellent meal. I ordered the iron skillet Mussels and the Swordfish WOW!!!!!!!!! There Martinis are giant with lots of different olives to pick from. The service, was great. What a perfect night.
Had a great meal!
Food was excellent and very original! Prices were reasonable and service was great! Atmosphere was electric as well! Very Highly Recommend!
Not Good For the Money
Not happy with this restaurant. The place has a great atmsophere but the food is overpriced for the quality. I found the food to be very bland, not well prepared, and not good quality for the price. The service lacked for the price as well. Other restaurants near by are much more professional and better quality with the same atmosphere. Too bad, as it is a good location.
Excellent Food and Ambiance!
We stumbled upon Beluga after searching for a new dining spot to enjoy since we were tired of the others we have been to in the past. I was very pleased to learn that Beluga served a nice array of meats which was our delicacy! The Porterhouse was amazing and the selection of wines was very impressive! The service was great as well as the food selection. After dinner we went to the outside bar (which was full of a nice upscale crowd) and enjoyed a cocktail while listening to enjoyable music. I liked the fact that I was not elbow to elbow with some 20 yr old punk with baggy jeans! :) We will definately be back!
