Though it may not sound like it when you call for reservations, the Tin Angel has a fireplace and boasts a quieter atmosphere. The menu is diverse, with a range of vegetarian, chicken, and shrimp pasta dishes. Try the Pasta Mediterranean with sun-dried tomatoes and artichoke hearts. Also good is the chicken parmesan. The menu also includes meatloaf, steaks, entre salads and other chicken dishes. Finish up with apple pie and vanilla ice cream or the delicious chocolate cake. -- Rob Wilds

mswarmhands - 03/24/2007This is my favorite Nashville restaurant. It combines a warm and friendly atmosphere with inventive, tasty food. I'm reminded of the older neighborhood restaurants in New Orleans....a nice bar, jovial people, great waitstaff, and a place to eat where you don't have to shout at your tablemates!
My favorites are the Hangar Steak, the trout, and the filet. The Creme Brulee is a treat. I am never disappointed.
I might add that this is a "locally owned" restaurant....we should support our own!Good place
mbmazzolini - 02/08/2005I've only been to Tin Angel once. It was good, but not particularly memorable. Nice atmosphere, the food is good although a little bit overambitious as far as seasonings go. I'd go there again for the atmosphere, but I'd go somewhere else for the same quality food at a cheaper price.
