Candle-lit tables, crystal goblets and silver stemware are a part of the atmosphere at Midtown Bar & Grill in the heart of Broad Ripple. Midtown offers a sampling of continental cuisine including steaks, fresh fish, chicken, pasta, salads and more. Managers say customers keep coming back for their Filet Mignon Dijon and Salmon Wellington -- a fresh Atlantic salmon baked in a puff pastry shell. Specialty drinks concocted by Midtown's bar include berry and chocolate martinis. On a warm evening, try sipping your martini or a glass of wine while you dine outside on the restaurant's covered patio, which faces the Broad Ripple canal. Elegant as it may be, kids are welcome at Midtown, and chefs will make the little ones dishes to order, such as pasta with red sauce or chicken fingers.
