Staff is Worst ever.

Where should I start? This pass Friday the 23 of Nov, 2007 a couple of friends and I went to Spank/1223. I have never been to this place before and I am a regular client at different clubs/ lounges in DC. For the better or worst your now missing anything, the staff at this trashy place incredibly rude, no manners what so ever, WOW seriously I have never been treated like **** before. I had a table at spank, but went down stairs to dance hip-hop when I tried to go back up the white bouncer did not let my girl friend and I go up. Let me just mention we were calm and patient. Most important thing I had my coat and purse up at our table in spank. We told the bouncer that and he did not believe it. We told the bouncer we have a table. I cant believe how stupid a person can be. We told the bouncer we had a table in spank and he replied back saying jajaja so your telling me each one of you have a table. How stupid can you be, we were all in the same table muscle head!!!! He though she had a table and I had a different table, I did not go up I could not pay and get my coat to leave b/c I was by the stairs waiting for my friends to come down. It was freezing outside a couple of the security guys told me I had to leave I told them what happened looks like I was telling a joke b/c they laugh at me. I was looking for the manager no body could tell me who the manager was. They were all covering each others ****. Spank/1223 staff makes you feel like ****, no manners, not friendly. It seems like they are trying to be secure VIP club, but they have a really ****** service. I had a problem since we got there. I almost did not go in, because they though my ID was fake jajajaja idiots I got a tan and different hair color. Then they took us up through the main door. Through the middle of the club, told the people at the door we had more friends coming and to please take them upstairs; they said sure no problem. We never saw our friend went back looking for them, they got into the clu

1223 is pretty good. I wish there was a little more game. There was a pretty nice crowd. The best feature was free booze with the grey goose open bar by dcinfamous.com. My suggestion, get there early and then bounce before the craziness at midnight. The dance lounge scene works well till then but then I just want to get to bed.

Had my b-day here last weekend and it was awesome. I usually like to go VIP and this place didn't disappoint. I have to give my props to Grey Goose, dcinfamous.com, or MCCXXIII (whoever organized it), but I loved the music and open bar!!! I will probably be back next year for another b-day bash.

YES!!! I loved it! Grey Goose, 1223, and no cover are a shoe in for me. Could have been more ladies, but I have a girlfirend already, so not that important. DCInfamous.com, you rock!!!
