The Century Ballroom is a gorgeous place to spend a romantic evening. Featuring swing, lindy hop and salsa dancing, the Century is one of the few places in Seattle where you can dress in your grandparents' finest and dance the night away in style. There is a full bar and a fine selection of wines and beers. In the adjoining cafe, you can enjoy wine and tapas before you work it all off jumpin' and jivin' on the dance floor. Boasting one of the largest dance floors in Seattle -- a staggering 2,000 square feet of pure dancing bliss -- this is an unrivaled dancin' fool's heaven. If you have a special event coming up that requires the utmost in class, rent the whole place out; the capacity for the ballroom area is 300 people, with 55 tables and a cafe, which they can cater. Also, entrees vary seasonally, so dining experiences at the Century Ballroom are rarely the same.

Century is the most welcoming place for learning a new dance because of the instructors and DJ's are such good teachers. They are very patient and have been at it for so long they know how to teach anybody. They also smile and joke, because it is a fun thing for them to teach others to dance. We all have a good time even if we are frustrated by a new move. Thanks so much Hallie and Deron and everybody for making learning to dance fun.
iIalso should not forget to say that they have the best live acts in the city of seattle if not in the whole northwest. If you are already skilled at your dance, you will love dancing to their live bands. To quality musicians are to be found here!

This place is run so well. It is inexpensive and the lesson beforehand is such an icebreaker. The food while limited is good, we always have a cup of espresso there to rev up our energy for dancing.
The proprietor is awesome and she has fought to keep the space and will do so for another 10 years..Cheers to Hallie!
