Poor Service

I had a party there and when we arrived the manager forgot and thought the party was the next night. So the food was not ordered and the table service was not available. They told us we could stay upstairs until it got crowded. What a horrible experience. I would not go back!

So the experience tonight at Diesel has to rank from appalling to downright idiocy. Let me paint an idea of the scene, first the bar has many girls who are obviously underage I'm talking about 15 and younger. The bouncer being such an intelligent person lets them through the door even with their fake IDs. So my girlfriend and I go to the door and the bouncer asks for my ID. I give it to him only to have the fat gorilla scratch over it meticulously and then he ACCUSES ME OF HAVING A FAKE ID even though it is clearly a Virginia driver's license. He then starts threatening me like wanting to press charges at this point I am cool enough to just let this go. But the fact remains that if this is Diesel's standards then they should just quit the game now and realize that maybe hiring a bouncer with an IQ higher than an 8th grader would be a worthwhile investment other than having those LCD light displays they brag about.

I have heard many mixed reviews of this Diesel club. As a common frequenter of clubs in Los Angeles and Houston and New York, I decided to see what Pittsburgh had in store for me. I was not expecting much and found DIESEL TO BE FAR BELOW MY EXPECTATIONS (if that was possible, diesel did it for me).

Originally I had heard that 15 year old disgusting pig-like girls had been feeling up my boyfriend's friend. Online, I saw that it was rated decently. Unfortunately, tonight I had the UNFORTUNATE chance of going to this HORRIBLE club.

At the door, my boyfriend and I were stopped by a huge disgustingly overweight so-called "bouncer". First of all, I believe the club should pick better looking bouncers. Not only was the bouncer disgusting but he claimed that my boyfriend, who attends PITT, 's id was fake because he had not seen and ID from a different state. It was ironically funny because he was indeed that age and we asked several other policeman to verify that the ID was correct but the imbecile of a bouncer refused to let him in although he had no problems with letting me in. So not only was the bouncer an imbecile but a creep as well! That was ridiculous. Before us, he let in two 15 year old prepubescent children who, well, we saw staggering drunkenly out of the club later.

If it was possible I would give this club a negative rating. DO NOT GO TO DIESEL. TAKE YOUR BUSINESS TO THE MATRIX.
