Deko Lounge is owned and operated by the same people who run the massive Club Abyss across the street. Though Deko is billed as a lounge and is nominally more intimate, it still bumps like mad with pounding bass beats from the house, hip-hop and R&B tracks that make up most of its playlists. The beige padded walls and banquettes, sheer, flowing draperies and low tables get a louche look from saturated red lighting throughout, giving a chill vibe. But the music is designed to get the 21-and-over crowd dancing, and you won't even get that far if you're not dressed up to snuff. That means no baggy pants, jeans, work gear, sneakers or athletic wear, though it can generally be assumed that if you're fine enough, all rules are meant to be broken. Ladies get in free or half-price at some point nearly every night, which means the crowd skews to dudes. Guest DJs of considerable reknown join the party frequently, so check the web site to see if the likes of Funkmaster Flex or Raekwon of Wu-Tang Clan are spinning soon.

Malanga2007 - 07/25/2008Deko's used to be a nice club a few years ago, when it was PARADISE, but now its not worth it and its prices are too high, the music is alright but it gets so HOT in there you want to pass out and the place smells like straight FUNK!!!!!.... Naaaaaaa sorry Dekos CANT GET NO PROPS!!!! NEEDS IMPROVEMENT....

slippedononekiss - 02/26/2008this place sucks the ppl are rude and it is wayy over priced// why bother driving so far to just get shit service when you can drive to Seaside for BAMBOO<3. its amazing the ppl are GREAT && so is the service--its open til' 3 am every night 18 to party on saturdays (($5 dollars off with flyer))...over 21 $5 dollar admission cant beat that guys && $2 drinks ALL NIGHT for the ladies and others are cheap too..Great themed parties AMAZING time<3. && a great variety of ages so noone has to feel like R. Kelly lol SO TAKE YOU AND YOUR CREW TO THE BAMBOO BAR<3.

figurinia - 01/09/2008How is it that 18 yr olds are getting in on a constant basis. Are you keeping the liquor from being served to them. I think not. Someone should be watching over this a little tighter
